KARAGANDA TRANSPORT
Karaganda has several edge cities, and the main ones are Temirtau, Abay, Shahtinsk, Saran’.
The city is divided into main 3 parts: South-East, the city itself, Maikuduk. The center of Karaganda is Bukhar-Zhyrau street. The train station is located in about 15 minutes from the city center. You can go there by busses №02, №07, №4, №13, №26, №29, №33, №40, №43, №44, №70, №121, №127, №165.There are many express busses, and special taxis which are called “London” and the other one is “Baursak”.
The main feature is that you can’t just go out and flag down a taxi, because nobody stops. You can use buses or call the taxi.

There you can find a lot of coffee-shops, summer terraces, cafes, restaurants with delicious and diverse cuisines, as Korean, Italian, and also you can buy Indian products, because there are many students from India who study at one of the most prestigious Medical University. Also you can try delicious coffee at “Kofemolka”, Oreo milkshake and nice pasta at “Dobro”. You have to go to the restaurant “The Ribs” which is known for serving savory ribs.

ENTERTAINMENT
Karaganda citizens are fond of sports such as hockey, football, box. Famous Kazakhstan boxers Gennady Golovkin and Serik Sapiyev were born in Karaganda city. If you want to see football match, you can go to “Shakhter” stadium which was opened in 1958. Karaganda citizens are proud of the football team “Shakhter” which is one of the best team in Kazakhstan.
You also have to visit Karaganda zoo and circus; you can go there by bus №30 to the zoo, and busses №40 and №53 to the circus.
